What we know about Middleton Tyas.
Middleton Tyas is the village just off Scotch Corner: picturesque, well-kept, with St Michael & All Angels church at its heart. The housing is a mix of original stone properties, mid-20th century family homes, and a small number of higher-end newer builds along the lanes toward Moulton and Croft.
Most of our Middleton Tyas work falls into two buckets: regular weekly or fortnightly domestic cleans for commuter families using the A1 / Scotch Corner; and pre-event or pre-sale deep cleans (the village pubs and church events drive a lot of these). Occasional commercial cleans for the small businesses around the village too.
From Richmond it's about 13 minutes by road. We share the Scotch Corner loop with Moulton, Scorton and Brompton on Swale, which keeps the per-property travel cost low.
Middleton Tyas works best as planned local cleaning.
Middleton Tyas sits neatly between Richmond, Scotch Corner and the wider local round, so it is a sensible fit for domestic cleaning, deeper first visits and the odd handover clean. The key is planning the job properly. A regular clean is about keeping a house under control. A deep clean is about dealing with what has built up. An end-of-tenancy clean is about leaving fewer arguments behind.
Domestic cleaning with a clear brief.
For most Middleton Tyas homes, Nikki starts by asking what you actually want taken off your plate. Some people care most about bathrooms and floors. Some want the kitchen kept sharp. Some need help staying ahead of pet hair, dust or a busy family week. The quote should match the house, not a made-up package name.
When the job needs more time.
If the clean involves oven work, internal windows, skirting, heavy bathroom build-up or a property handover, it needs quoting as more than a standard visit. That is not upselling. It is just the difference between doing a clean properly and rushing around looking busy. Nikki will tell you which side your job sits on before anything is booked.
