Cleaning questions are usually practical. How much will it cost? Can you get here? Will the same person come back? What happens if the march-out inspector spots something? This page keeps the answers in one place so you can decide whether True Grit is the right fit before you call.

Best for regular homes

Weekly or fortnightly domestic cleaning works best when the same cleaner can learn the house and keep on top of it.

Best for guest-ready properties

Holiday-let changeovers need timing, linen, detail checks and a clear message when the place is ready.

Best for deadlines

March-out and end-of-tenancy cleans need proper planning because the inspection or handover is already booked.

Pricing & quotes

Every quote is tailored to the property, frequency and what's included. Domestic cleans are usually priced per visit by length. Holiday-let changeovers are priced per turnaround. Deep cleans and end-of-tenancy cleans are priced per job. Quotes are always free and no-obligation.
For most jobs we quote a fixed price so there are no surprises. For ad-hoc help (a one-off three-hour blitz, for example) we can quote hourly.
No. Weekly, fortnightly, monthly or one-off. Book what suits you. No contracts, no tie-ins, cancel any time.
Bank transfer, cash, or card. We invoice for any job over a single visit.

Coverage & areas

Richmond, Darlington, Northallerton, Catterick (village and Garrison), Barnard Castle, Leyburn, Bedale and the Yorkshire Dales including Reeth, Hawes, Aysgarth. DL1-DL12 postcodes.
Yes. One of the only owner-run cleaners that genuinely covers both. DL10 (Richmond), DL1, DL2, DL3 (Darlington), plus everything between.
Up to Keld in Swaledale and Hawes in Wensleydale on the regular Dales round. Anything further out (Garsdale Head, Cotterdale) needs a little notice but is doable.
Yes. Barnard Castle, Teesdale and the immediate Bishop Auckland area (DL12 mostly). Ask about your specific village.

Holiday lets & Airbnb

Yes. Same-day 10am check-out to 4pm check-in is what we do most days from April to October. Book ahead for peak Saturdays in summer.
Either we do the wash ourselves on a rolling-stock basis or coordinate with your existing linen company. Whatever's most cost-effective.
Yes. Every changeover ends with a host completion message. Photos on request.
Yes. Tell us what you want left for guests (tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, loo roll, welcome card) and we'll keep stock for you.

MoD March-Out at Catterick Garrison

Yes. It's one of our core services. SFA / married quarters to JSP 464 inspection standard, first-time-pass focus.
If something the inspector flags is genuinely down to our clean, we come back and put it right at our cost. First-time-pass is the standard.
Two to four weeks ahead is ideal. Peak posting weeks in July to September book up. Short-notice bookings welcome, just call.
Yes. Professional hot-water extraction, with a receipt provided for your file.
