Domestic, SFA and deep cleaning in Hipswell and Colburn, the DL9 villages next to Catterick Garrison. Service families, civilian households, and the lot in between.
DL9 villages, right by the Garrison.
Hipswell and Colburn are the closest civilian villages to Catterick Garrison, DL9, and house a mix of Service families, civilians and retirees. We're in this area all week: regular domestic cleans, march-out / SFA cleaning next door, and the occasional end-of-tenancy.
If you're in an SFA quarter and need an MoD-standard march-out clean, our Catterick Garrison page covers it in detail.

What we know about Hipswell & Colburn.
Hipswell and Colburn are the DL9 villages that adjoin Catterick Garrison itself. Most of Hipswell's population, and a large slice of Colburn's, are Service families in SFA (Service Family Accommodation) or married quarters. The civilian populations are growing fast as new private estates have been built on the village edges.
Our work here is two distinct streams: regular weekly cleaning for Service families who simply want a reliable hand during a busy posting; and SFA / march-out cleans for families moving on. We know the SFA stock intimately: the typical issues, the typical inspection flags, the rooms most likely to be marked at handover. The march-out clean is the highest-stakes single clean a Service family will ever book and we treat it that way.
From Richmond it's about 12 minutes by road. We pair Hipswell and Colburn work with Catterick Garrison and Catterick Village on the same DL9 loop.
Hipswell and Colburn need a different sort of planning.
Hipswell and Colburn sit close enough to Catterick Garrison that cleaning enquiries here often split two ways: normal domestic cleaning for local homes, and more deadline-led work for service families around move dates. That is why Nikki asks what the clean is for before quoting. A weekly kitchen-and-bathroom clean is one job. A handover clean with an inspection looming is another.
When it is domestic cleaning.
For regular home cleaning, the priority is consistency. Same person where possible, same standards, and a clear list of what matters most in your house. Some homes need bathrooms and floors kept under control. Some need a heavier first visit before a maintenance slot makes sense. Nikki will say which it is before you book.
When it is closer to march-out work.
If the clean is tied to a posting, handover or SFA-style expectation, say so early. The quote needs to allow for the bits that get checked: kitchens, bathrooms, skirting, internal glass, carpets if required, and the boring corners that become expensive when missed. No mystery crew, no last-minute panic if it can be helped.
